Calcs.finance is a free educational calculator site. The practical version of these terms is simple: use the calculators as estimates, check important numbers elsewhere before acting, do not misuse the service, and do not treat ads or calculator outputs as advice, quotes, approvals, or guarantees.

Educational estimates
Calculator outputs, examples, guides, and formula notes are for general information and planning. They are not personal financial, investment, mortgage, tax, legal, insurance, accounting, pension, or regulated advice.
No provider decision
A result is not a quote, offer, approval, eligibility decision, lender decision, tax determination, account statement, or guarantee that a rate, price, return, saving, tax result, or outcome will apply.
Saved scenarios
Saved scenarios are convenience records for comparing versions of calculator inputs. They are not permanent financial records, backup services, account statements, or regulated recordkeeping tools.
Advertising boundaries
Ads help fund free access. Ads are not endorsements or recommendations, and calculator inputs, outputs, saved scenarios, notes, balances, income, usage details, account state, and local scenario data are not used for ad targeting.

Accepting these terms

By accessing or using Calcs.finance, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or account features. If you use Calcs.finance on behalf of an organisation, you are responsible for making sure you have authority to do that and that the organisation can follow these terms.

Calculator results, formulas, and corrections

Calculator results depend on the inputs, formula version, dataset version where relevant, rounding choices, and assumptions shown or linked from the page. Generic financial math is documented through methodology-first formula notes. Rule-based, tax, lending, retirement, or jurisdiction-specific claims need official sources before they should be treated as current.

No quote or approval
A result is not a lender quote, product quote, application result, provider offer, credit decision, suitability assessment, tax filing position, or guarantee of an outcome.
Changing assumptions
Rates, fees, dates, inflation, taxes, local rules, provider terms, repayment behavior, rounding, and personal circumstances can materially change an estimate.
Correction path
If a formula, source, assumption, or explanation looks wrong, report the page URL, inputs, output, expected result, and source or reasoning that supports the correction.

Accounts and saved scenarios

You can use calculators without an account. Where saved scenarios or account features are available, they are provided to make comparison easier, not to store permanent financial records. You should keep your own records for important decisions and avoid entering sensitive account data that is not needed for the calculator.

Scenario limit
The product currently limits saved scenarios to 25. You may need to delete an old scenario before saving another.
Local and account storage
Anonymous scenarios may be saved locally in your browser. If account sync is configured and you sign in, local scenario and calculator usage records may be claimed or synced to the account feature.
Deletion and availability
Deleting an account through the product flow clears local scenario and calculator usage records on that device and requests deletion of account-linked records through the backend. Backups, security logs, legal holds, and limited operational records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.
Not a recordkeeping service
Do not use saved scenarios as the only copy of important financial, tax, legal, lending, or investment records.

Issue reports and support messages

Calculator issue reports and support messages are meant to help investigate errors, confusing assumptions, stale sources, broken pages, and account or privacy requests. The in-product Report issue tool can include calculator values automatically, along with browser diagnostics, formula version, dataset version, current URL, and your written summary.

  • Use general example numbers when real figures are sensitive.
  • Do not send passwords, full account numbers, bank login details, identity documents, card numbers, tax IDs, national insurance numbers, social security numbers, or bank statements through calculators, notes, reports, or email.
  • A support reply cannot provide personalised financial, tax, legal, lending, investment, pension, insurance, or accounting advice.

Acceptable use

Use Calcs.finance in a lawful, respectful way. Do not misuse the site, interfere with service operation, or use calculator outputs to mislead people about financial products, eligibility, risks, or likely outcomes.

  • Do not attempt to access accounts, systems, APIs, data, or infrastructure without permission.
  • Do not submit malicious code, automated abuse, deceptive reports, illegal content, or content that infringes another person's rights.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, benchmark, or query the service at abusive volumes or in a way that degrades availability.
  • Do not impersonate Calcs.finance, Savi Tech Limited, Google, regulators, providers, or other organisations.
  • Do not encourage ad clicks, artificially inflate impressions or clicks, or interfere with ad measurement.

Advertising and free access

Calcs.finance is free and supported by advertising, including Google AdSense where enabled. Ads, sponsored placements, and ad-related links are not advice from Calcs.finance, are not endorsements, and are not signals that a product, provider, rate, offer, or outcome is suitable for you.

  • Advertisers do not control calculator formulas, examples, assumptions, editorial conclusions, content-review scores, internal links, or page rankings.
  • Google and other ad vendors may use cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.
  • Ad placement should not hide estimate limitations, methodology links, privacy choices, or disclaimers.

Advertising data firewall

Calculator inputs, outputs, saved scenarios, scenario notes, debts, income, balances, favourites, calculator usage details, account state, authentication identifiers, and local scenario data must not be used for ad targeting, remarketing, lookalike audiences, custom ad segments, or personalised advertising profiles.

  • Analytics and ad payloads should stay limited to page and navigation metadata.
  • Calculator field names, values, outputs, scenario names, notes, and account identifiers must not be sent to ad-targeting payloads.
  • This firewall is a product rule as well as a privacy commitment.

Intellectual property and feedback

The site design, content, calculator explanations, software, data presentation, page structure, and branding are owned by or licensed to the operator of Calcs.finance. You may use the site for personal, educational, or internal planning, but you may not copy, resell, republish, or redistribute substantial parts of it without permission.

  • You may link to public pages in a normal way.
  • If you send feedback, corrections, examples, or suggestions, Calcs.finance may use them to improve calculators, content, tests, documentation, and product behavior without owing compensation.
  • Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Service changes and availability

Calculators, examples, saved scenarios, account features, ads, privacy choices, source links, formula versions, datasets, and content may change or be removed over time. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, provider outages, security incidents, abuse prevention, network problems, or infrastructure changes.

  • Calculator changes can also require updates to formula notes, methodology notes, examples, guides, help pages, and the content review queue.
  • Free access may be changed, suspended, limited, or ended where needed for security, compliance, maintenance, abuse prevention, or product changes.

Account suspension, deletion, and ending use

You may stop using Calcs.finance at any time. If account features are available, you may sign out, delete local browser data, or request account deletion through the available product or contact paths. We may suspend, limit, or end access to site or account features if use creates security risk, legal risk, operational risk, policy risk, or a breach of these terms.

Liability and consumer rights

Calcs.finance is provided as a free educational estimate service. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that every calculator, source link, formula, saved scenario, account feature, ad, or page will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing removes mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Governing law and review

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights, local laws, or forum rights that apply where you live. These terms should be reviewed by the policy owner when account behavior, saved-scenario limits, issue-report payloads, advertising setup, privacy choices, company details, or applicable legal requirements change.
